Inside Sales Representative

Job Description:

This employment relates to ASI’s Miami based distribution business comprised of the Wholesale Wind brands and Wholesale Wetsuits (Dakine and Cabrinha at the time of this letter).

 

Primary goals of the position:

 

  • Lead Generation: Actively pursue new accounts
  • Closing: Actively solicit and close new sales to existing accounts and new leads
  • Fulfillment: Actively manage closed sales to ensure orders are fulfilled
  • After-sales service: Proactively work with accounts to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Participate in the development and implementation of annual sales programs, including communication to all accounts, in-house and outside sale teams.
  • Assist in Sales forecasting on an annual basis (or as requested by Management) for all accounts and regions within territory
  • Cultivate, maintain, and manage the territory’s local ambassador team.
  • Responsible for complete knowledge and expertise in ASI’s Wholesale business in the territory
  • Coordinate with Manager on market prices, conditions, and overall higher-level opportunities
  • Coordinate with Manager on recommended marketing initiatives, and provide a detailed plan to promote Wholesale and its sales in the area of responsibility
  • Manage product sales training of all agents, staff, ambassadors, and accounts (potentially including staff)
  • Coordinate with logistics and purchasing to ensure adequate and timely supply of equipment and the dissemination of pertinent information between Company and customer
  • Responsible for market research, detailed by category market prices and feature comparisons, neatly organized to present to ASI brand management
  • Travel from time to time to main accounts to conduct clinics, product demos, employee training, and sales visits.  Travel must have a goal and a future return on investment.  Travel to all related company meetings is mandatory and may include trade or industry events.
  • Be comfortable in a “cradle to grave” sales process where the role will be to hand hold all sales activity throughout the entire process
  • Providing expertise in warranty and service situations (in order to at least provide guidance to the correct process to reach quick resolution or expertise)
  • Conduct all business consistent to ASI’s moral and ethical values
  • Work within the established budgeted expenses
  • Conduct routine meetings with the Management to stay at the forefront of service issues, product development, and production issues
  • Assist in maintaining data on ASI’s ERP, B2B, etc. platforms
  • Other duties as assigned.
