Triple-S: Annelous and Alex on the podium

Annelous Lammerts and Alex Maes on the podium at SSS

Congratulations to Annelous Lammerts for taking 3rd place at the 2018 Wind Voyager Triple-S Invitational in Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.

The dutch athlete and 2017 KPL Champion made it into the event's final for the second time.

With the wind dying down on the first few days, it finally picked up and Annelous landed plenty of tricks in the first round, putting her in second place and straight into the final. In the end, Annelous got 3rd place!

Fellow team rider Alex Maes made the podium taking 5th place.

The 2018 Wind Voyager Triple-S Invitational was bigger and better than ever, with more riders, bigger bands and bigger parties.

Thirty-four of the worlds best kiteboarders on the planet battled it out for their share of the $50,000 prize purse and claim to everlasting fame on the Wind Voyager Triple-S perpetual trophy.

The event kicked off this year's Kite Park League season and will be followed by the Hood Jam on July 22nd and the Kite Mansion Open in Brazil later this year.

Good luck to Annelous & Alex!
