Michael Brandon

Michael Brandon brings a strong background in sailing, kiteboarding, hydrofoiling and specialty retail to his role as Cabrinha’s sales representative for the East Coast and Gulf Coast of the United States.

Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Michael developed an early passion for sailing that led him to the College of Charleston, in South Carolina, where he competed with the school’s offshore sailing team and earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics in 2020. He began kiteboarding and foiling in 2018, expanding his time on the water into a broader career within the industry.

Michael spent six years teaching sailing through the San Francisco Yacht Club’s summer program. He later taught kiteboarding and hydrofoiling at Force Kite and Wake in Charleston, where he also worked as a sales associate and gained valuable experience supporting riders at both the consumer and retail levels.

At Cabrinha, Michael draws on that combination of technical knowledge, instructional experience and direct customer insight to support dealers and grow the brand throughout his territory. His firsthand understanding of watersports and the people who participate in them brings an informed, rider-focused perspective to every relationship.
