Lars Moltrup

Born and raised in Herning, Denmark, now based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Australia, I started riding in 2005. Since then, life and work have taken me between Denmark, Hawaii, Hong Kong and Australia, with each place shaping how I ride and approach product design.

Today, I split my water time between wing foiling, kiting, prone foiling and surfing. As Cabrinha’s Product Development Manager and Hydrofoil Designer, riding and design are closely connected for me. Time on the water reveals what works, what doesn’t and where a product can be made simpler, cleaner and more intuitive.
