How did you get into kiteboarding?
My parents bought me a power kite for my birthday and as soon as I launched it and felt the power I was immediately hooked. I took it to the beach every time I could and soon saw people doing it on the water and knew that was what I wanted to do.
What motivated you to become a professional athlete?
Watching videos online of people kiting in amazing places all around the globe motivated me to spend as much time on the water as possible so that I could travel the world kiting.
What is #LiveFreeRideFree for you?
Live free, ride free is the embodiment of kitesurfing. We use a kite to propel us many different ways. Every person has a unique view on kiteboarding and the things they can do with it. It is a simple freedom that can be incredibly rewarding.
