A rising talent from Aruba takes the top prize at the Pro Junior Kite Academy.
The Pro Junior Kite Academy is all about discovering and developing the next generation of kiteboarding talent, and in 2025, Kai Rumbos from Aruba made his mark.
Throughout the Academy, Kai impressed with his riding, determination and potential, earning him the top honor and recognition as the 2025 Pro Junior Kite Academy winner.
The win marked an exciting step forward for the young Aruban rider, giving him the opportunity to continue developing his riding and pursue his ambitions within the sport.
Since his PJKA success, Kai has continued to gain experience on the international stage, competing in the 2025 GKA Youth Freestyle U14 division.
For the Pro Junior Kite Academy, Kai's progression represents exactly what the program was created to achieve: identify young talent, provide guidance and opportunity, and help develop the next generation of kiteboarders.
