The Pro Junior Kite Academy has been created with one clear goal: to discover, support and develop young riders with the talent, determination and passion to take their kiteboarding to the next level.
But the story behind the Academy began long before today.
Its roots stretch back to Tarifa in 2006, when Gabi Arranz founded the pioneering KITEC Pro Junior Camp, a project dedicated to identifying and developing young kiteboarding talent. Over the years, riders who passed through the program went on to make their mark at national and international level.
Now that vision enters a new chapter with the Pro Junior Kite Academy.
PJKA goes beyond simply improving what happens on the water. Each rider is encouraged to develop at their own pace, with personalized coaching alongside physical and mental preparation, nutrition, injury prevention and the values needed to grow both as an athlete and as a person.
At the heart of the Academy is opportunity.
Young riders get the chance to train alongside experienced coaches, push their riding in an inspiring environment and learn what it takes to progress within competitive kiteboarding.
For some, PJKA may be the beginning of a journey toward international competition. For others, it may simply be the week that transforms their riding and gives them the confidence to see how far they can go.
Either way, the mission remains the same: find the potential, nurture the talent and help shape the future of kiteboarding.
The next generation is coming.
