Nick is IKSURFMAG's Best Male Kitesurfer 2017

Nick Jacobsen wins IKSurf's 2017 Best Male Kitesurfer award

It’s another year at the top for Nick Jacobsen. In 2017, he really pushed the envelope and arguably got kiteboarding in front of more people than anyone else. There was the impressive 210 meter jump off the Burj al-Arab hotel in Dubai and his world record kite tow-up stunt on the Switchblade. On top of all that, Nick won kiteboarding's biggest event, the Red Bull King Of The Air. IKSurf's readers obviously didn't have a hard time voting for Nick! "Best male Kitesurfer of the Year - Wow, extremely honored to receive this title", Nick said today and thanked everybody for the support. At the moment, he is recovering from his broken fibula but he's optimistic to be back on the water by April.

We're also stoked to see KPL World Champion Annelous Lammerts being voted second best female rider of 2017. Congratulations, we can't wait to see what 2018 has in store for you!
