Moona & Keahi runner-up at GKA Dakhla

GKA World Tour Dakhla

Congratulations to our dream team Moona Whyte and Keahi de Aboitiz finishing in second place at the second stop of the GKA world tour in Dakhla, Morocco!

After winning the first round in Capo Verde and a neck an neck heat with Jalou Langeree and Airton Cozzolino, they got in second and keep the competition exciting. 

"Yesterday we finished the double elimination and I was hoping to climb up to 1st but happy to keep my 2nd place for the final result", Moona said after the competition, "We were scored partially for waveriding and partially for strapless freestyle tricks, which was a new format for the girls, and I was able to get some nice waves and do some jumps and beat Jalou in the rematch! But for our final tie-breaker heat, Jalou earned herself the win (on her birthday!) in another great battle. Congrats to all the riders and thank you to all the sponsors and organizers of the event!"

The next GKA tour stop will be in Viana do Castelo, Portugal from June 7 to 12. Strong nerves and good luck to Moona and Keahi!
