What is your favorite trick?
Drawn out carves - Front rolls.
How did you get into kiteboarding?
I was doing many boarding sports in Japan. A local boarding shop, where I used to go to collect equipment, introduced me to kitesurfing. Then, I started kiting just as one of my interests. While I was practicing and improving, my passion went more into kitesurfing.
What motivated you to become a professional athlete?
When I was a kid, I saw amazing figures of professional athletes in many sports giving dreams, impressions, excitement, and entertainments to a lot of people in the world. Of course I was one of the people. Since then my dream was to become a professional athlete. After kitesurfing became my passion, I decided to be a professional athlete with kitesurfing.
What is #LiveFreeRideFree for you?
Of course having fun is what it is. At the same time, sharing good times with other people can be the one to me.
