Joselito Del Rosario

Joselito grew up on Kite Beach in Cabarete, where he discovered kiteboarding by watching kids his age flying freely across the water. From that first moment, he knew the wind and the ocean would become his life.

A former world-level Twintip Freestyle competitor, he is known for his powerful, unhooked style and his love for extreme riding. His signature trick is the Backmobe, which he now confidently lands even on his hydrofoil.

But his connection with the ocean goes far beyond riding.

One experience changed the way he sees life forever: spending 24 hours lost in the open ocean. Alone and surrounded by nothing but water, every hour became a fight against fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty. With no idea when, or if, help would come, he learned how fragile life can be and how precious every single breath really is.

Coming back from that experience changed him. It gave him a deeper respect for the ocean, a stronger appreciation for life, and an even greater desire to live without holding back.
