Daniel Ware

Growing up surfing in Charleston, SC, I spent countless sessions sitting in the lineup while the southwest sea breeze blasted overhead, watching kiters downwind past me and my friends as we got tossed around in the wind chop. During the summer of 2006, we all bought power kites from the local shop and started trying to ride anything and everything with them. Fast forward through a few summers of bumming around the shop until we landed jobs there, taught ourselves with the school gear after hours, and started chasing sessions year-round.

Years of kite and surf foiling later, 2021 rolled around and winging quickly became my go-to discipline. These days I'm chasing it all, surf foiling, downwind foiling, and especially parawinging, and the Union Foil system has changed the game, getting me on the water more than ever, in more conditions than I ever thought possible. I'm totally foil-brained and beyond stoked to ride all the incredible products Cabrinha has in the pipeline.
