What is your favorite trick?  

Off the lip.

How did you get into kiteboarding?

My dad was a professional windsurfer (he competed with Pete back in the day!) and he fell in love with kiting and taught me and my brother one summer break. I've been hooked ever since!

What motivated you to become a professional athlete?

I have always been active and drawn to the lifestyle of an athlete. And growing up in Hawaii you're surrounded by that your whole life so guess I saw that as a normal path. After learning how to kite and seeing pro kiter girls in magazines and videos I knew I really wanted to be like them and get to travel around the world for kitesurfing.

It's all about enjoying your time on the water and being out in nature which will let you live your best life!
