How did you get into kiteboarding?

I noticed kitesurfing when I was training in the summers in Mt. Hood, Oregon for ski racing when I was younger. You would only see one person or two kiteboarding and it intrigued me, as it was a new sport and the potentials were endless. So I went all in...

What motivated you to become a professional athlete?

Growing up as a ski racer I was always very driven to do the best I can in anything I try in life. So I guess it came kind of natural to me. I just loved to train and always wanted to test my hard work against others to see how my training was going in whatever it was. 

What is #LiveFreeRideFree for you?

LiveFreeRideFree to me is anything and everything Kitesurfing related. To me it is about grabbing anything a foil, surfboard, twin tip and just having the very best time you can out there with your closest friends. A way to let loose and enjoy this beautiful sport any way you like it.
